the intersection of art, marketing, and real estate.
Nadia is uniquely skilled in real estate development with a focus on brand strategy, creative direction, graphic design, digital marketing, and project management. Her passion for design is expressed creatively with a forward-thinking and strong understanding of digital marketing and technology. Nadia holds a degree in Communications, Art, and Technology from Simon Fraser University, with a Minor in Art and Culture Studies from Charles University. In 2011 Nadia lived and studied Art History and European Culture in Prague, immersing herself in the architecture and beauty of Europe. After graduation Nadia began her career in Vancouver working for the top sales & leasing team in Canada at CBRE’s Urban Properties Group, specializing in luxury street-front sales, investment properties, street-front leasing, retail negotiating, and development pre-leasing. Nadia has been involved in several high-profile real estate development projects including TELUS Gardens, a one million square foot LEED Platinum landmark building (one-of-the most environmentally friendly developments in North America), and The Lightworks Building a 54,000 square foot Art Deco heritage restoration within Vancouver’s creative tech hub. Nadia worked closely with architects, designers, and creatives to communicate and conceptualize plans into reality through development.
In 2018, Nadia relocated to Los Angeles and joined Douglas Elliman Development Marketing to pursue her passion for new development and real estate. During her time with Douglas Elliman, she has represented and assisted with the sales and marketing for The West Hollywood Edition, The Harland West Hollywood, Pendry Residences, Asteras Kings, 8899 Beverly, and 643. N. Spring Street. Nadia was involved and led several initiatives within new development including branding, public relations, print, and digital advertising, marketing collateral, event execution, and sales gallery actualization for Douglas Elliman’s New Development portfolio. Today, Nadia is a licensed real estate professional at Engel & Volkers taking a multifaceted approach to her clients and projects focused on creating international development opportunities for clients globally.
Beyond real estate development, Nadia lends her creative direction and digital strategy skills to work with artist Turiya Magadlela, a South African artist known for her fiber-based works incorporating pantyhose, specialty fabrics, and correctional uniforms, exploring themes of memory and personal history. Nadia designed and built Turiya's website, curated a series of collections showcasing her work, and manages client outreach on her behalf — bringing the same design-forward, brand-conscious approach she applies to large-scale development marketing to the intimate scale of artist representation.

"Working with Nadia has given my practice a presence it never had before. She designed my website with real care; it doesn't just showcase the work; it understands it. Beyond that, she's curated collections that have helped collectors and galleries see my pieces in new relationships to each other, and she's handled outreach with warmth and professionalism. Nadia brings the same attention to detail and creative instinct to an artist's practice that she'd bring to any major brand, and it shows."
